Frog Holler Forest

The neighborhood of Frog Holler is aptly named. Year-round you can hear the chorus of Pacific Tree Frogs that call its forests their home. Frog Holler Forest is the largest working forest on Vashon Island. Prior to public ownership, the forest received certification for its sustainable management practices under the American Tree Farm System. Frog Holler also has a five-acre pasture once grazed by goats, sheep, and horses.

The park in its current state (over 135 acres with 2.6 miles of multi-use trails) is the result of a long-term partnership effort between the Land Trust and King County to protect more than 500 acres of forest on south Vashon Island.
