Gifting Land
The Vashon-Maury Island Land Trust is uniquely equipped to handle donations of property for future preservation. We gratefully accept outright gifts of land, whether developed or undeveloped.
If the donated land holds conservation value, the Vashon-Maury Island Land Trust may hold it indefinitely in our network of preserved and managed properties.
If the property does not have conservation value, the Land Trust will most likely sell the property. All proceeds of this sale will help fund more of our crucial conservation work.
