Linda’s deep appreciation for the natural world brought her into the Vashon Maury Island Land Trust. Her prior work experience in public accounting and finance as a CPA naturally matched her to the role of Board Treasurer.

She cares deeply for Vashon’s beings on land and water, from the mycelium to aquatic life, from the air to the beings breathing the air. VMILT’s roles and partnerships in education, regenerative farming, conservation, and stewardship work to provide a sustainable life on Vashon and the greater world.  VMILT matches her care. It continues to grow with the changing world, looking to meet the calls as needed. Some of her favorite parts of the VMILT… providing quiet sit spots for children in nature, walking paths for people of all ages, bringing Matsuda back as a community farm, and restoration of Judd Creek as a welcome habitat for salmon to spawn.
