Theron Shaw

Theron was born and raised in Ohio, visiting his grandparents on the farm that has been in the Shaw family for over 100 years. As a 17-year-old, he got his first taste of Cascadia when attending Pearson College UWC, on Vancouver Island. That experience has rooted him in a commitment to both adventure and service and connected him deeply to this Salish Sea landscape.

With a Masters in Public Affairs, Theron brings over 25 years of experience in fundraising and non-profit management, and has had the honor of working with dozens of different non-profits over the course of his career as both a consultant and team member.

Theron is inspired by Indigenous cultures, regenerative landscapes and ways that our relationships with the land can help us navigate the challenges of climate change.

When he's not at the Land Trust office, Theron can be found mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding and spending time outdoors with his family.
