Abel Eckhardt

Stewardship Director

Abel has lived in Washington (the best state) his entire life. He moved to the “lush green side” of Washington for college, where he studied Environmental Science, Conservation, and Community Engagement. He has forever followed his passions and finds great joy in navigating the human/nature interface, which is at the forefront of the Land Trust’s mission.

Abel has been active in the Conservation/Restoration field for the past 30 years and is happy to continue learning and sharing with this lovely island community. When not playing Land Trust games Abel loves getting out to explore the mountains, rivers, ocean, and all the other beauty that enriches the Pacific Northwest.
