3.28.18 Annual Meeting

March 28, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for our 2018 Annual Meeting with special guest David Montgomery, Professor of Geomorphology, Dept. of Earth & Space Sciences, UW. David is the author of many popular books including King of Fish, Dirt, The Rocks Don’t Lie, The Hidden Half of Nature, and most recently, “Growing a Revolution: Bringing Our Soil Back to Life” .

In the introduction to Growing a Revolution, Montgomery writes that he never thought he’d write an optimistic book about the environment. His first popular book, “Dirt,” was about how erosion undermined ancient civilizations around the world in places like modern-day Syria and Iraq. 10 years later, Growing a Revolution, is a good-news environment story.

Before David Montgomery takes the floor, Land Trust Executive Director Tom Dean will give a brief State of the Land Trust presentation. Members will have the opportunity to cast ballots for new Board Members and ask questions.

Get a copy of Growing A Revolution beforehand, enjoy the read and then get it signed by the author!
