Seeking Volunteers at Matsuda Farm

Seeking Volunteers at matsuda farm!

Volunteer harvest crew members support our farm employees in harvesting ripe produce, washing, and packing it for delivery to customers.

Matsuda Farm is a project of the Vashon Maury Island Land Trust, with a mission of conserving productive farmland, maintaining habitat values, providing public benefit and public access, and honoring the history of the Matsuda family and farm. We’re contributing to a more sustainable local food system on Vashon by making more island grown produce available in more places, starting with our school district. We also wholesale produce to island restaurants and grocery stores, as well as our smaller institutions like Vashon Community Care and the Senior Center. 2020 is our second year of full-time production, and we’re exciting about growing more food with a larger volunteer team.
